Don’t Steal Anything, But Really Don’t Steal Candy From This Store
Theft is, you know, a crime. That said, I once filched a candy bar when I was a very, very young. Single digits young. My grandmother made me go back and pay for it.
If the store I swiped from had this dude on staff, I doubt I would have been so stupid.
You’ll have to go to the link to see the photo. Think Mr. T without the mohawk. Standing in front of a bunch of bins full of candy. That no one will be stealing from anymore.

Brad Pitt Is Just A Dad Like Me
Brad Pitt may be a celebrity dad, but according to this article he has to do the morning shift. Which in his case includes getting six kids ready for school. Just like me.
Brad says this activity is “painful,” according to DigitalSpy. Getting six kids out the door in the morning isn’t totally fun? We can believe that.
Of course, Brad Pitt is also a mega-uber-superduper famous movie star worth a gazillion dollars. With a full head of hair. But otherwise we’re, like, totally the same guy.

Bow To Your Soccerbot Overlords, Eventually
Among the many things our children will likely see in their lifetimes is fully functioning robots that can do more than simply clean our floors. Whether or not we parents will see such things depends upon both the pace of technology and how old we are. I’m old enough to be in the “maybe, maybe not” category.
According to this video from TheVerge of RoboCup 2012, I’m leaning towards “maybe not” for me being forced to fight the T-1000. The video features “the world’s best soccer robots [battling] it out in Mexico City for the Louis Vuitton Best Humanoid trophy”.
Best Humanoid Trophy. Kind of Orwellian, no?
