Static Shock Chapter Books

I love me some comic books, and I encourage my son to read them as well. That said, I’d like him to expand his horizons a bit.

Not that he doesn’t read enough. He reads constantly. But a lot of it is comic books, and the same ones over and over again.

Presidential Material comic sold out

So I head over to my local comic book store to pick up my weekly stack, and I figure I’ll snag a copy of the Presidential Material Flipbook, which is a graphic novel biography of John McCain and Barack Obama (also available separately). The store was surprised as well – they said they would have more copies by the afternoon.

Sometimes, when you come down in the morning, especially if you haven’t had the windows of your bedroom well open so as to get plenty of air during the night, you may feel that you are not very hungry for breakfast. Or perhaps, if you have risen late, or are in a great hurry to get to school in time, you just swallow a cup of coffee or tea, and a cracker or a little piece of bread, or a small saucer of cereal…
