After forcing GM CEO Rick Wagoner out of the company, President Obama now says he will offer GM and Chrysler 60 days to present a better plan to save themselves, and if they do, they’ll get some more cabbage. Mmm… cabbage…
I have mixed feelings about this whole thing. On the one hand, I don’t love the idea of the government being this involved in any company. On the other hand, they’re asking for help, and money. Lots of money. So it makes more sense then what has been done so far, which is “Here you go, Billy. Don’t spend it all in one place! And if you do, well… we’ll see. You little scamp!”
