Brett Singer Tweets for 2012-07-29
This week is Brett Singer Tweets, it wasn’t all sports, but it was a lot of sports. Examples: radio great Max Kellerman speaks truth about Joe Paterno before everybody else does. Yankees GM Brian Cashman calls Ichiro the “reincarnation of Brett Gardner” and I feel the need to point out that Gardner isn’t dead because we Bretts need to stick together. And finally, Michael Vick “sees a potential dynasty in Philly,” which made me wonder if perhaps he meant that he saw an episode of the television show “Dynasty” while in Philly. Football does feature shoulderpads, as did “Dynasty.” Honestly, that explanation makes more sense than Vick thinking that the Eagles are a “potential dynasty” when they haven’t won a championship yet. Although I suppose he did say “potential.” Which leaves the door wide open. Avanti! Read more »

Brett Singer Tweets for 2012-07-22
This week is Brett Singer Tweets — I point out that the heat makes the outside world smell bad, at least in urban areas, offer praise for Steve Wozniak’s backpack (so. awesomely. nerdy.), and provide these words of twitterific wisdom — Being told you are good makes you feel good. As they say on Game of Thrones, this is known. But it never hurts to hear it again. Avanti! Read more »

This week is Brett Singer Tweets — I point out why the movie version of ‘Rock of Ages’ wasn’t as good as the Broadway musical (honestly, it wasn’t a high bar, but they somehow managed to not hit it), a few comments on ‘America’s Got Talent’, one of which was replied to by AGT contestants the Aurora Light Painters, and I praise my own small victory, which was finding a cable I was searching for in the mess that is my home office. Ha! It’s a little thing but I’ll take it. Avanti! Read more »

This week is Brett Singer Tweets — Rupert Murdoch says whatever the heck he wants to say on Twitter, even if it is about the highly litigious Scientology. Also — celebrities who claim not to own a television (the 80-inch plasma “computer monitor” doesn’t count I suppose), I love me some Cajun music (via rdio), and I make a typo while attempting to make a joke about… a typo! That’s so meta it’s meta. Avanti!

Brett Singer Tweets for 2012-07-01
This week in Brett Singer Tweets, I express my opinion of The Polyphonic Spree covering Neil Young (positive), a rich guy suing Google because he’s upset that a photo he considers unflattering appeared on a blog (negative), and the fact that Dan Rather wrote an article for Gawker (bemused, intrigued). Also — does anyone else think that the Supreme Court delayed their ruling on the Affordable Care Act just to get more publicity? That’s what I thought. Read on, friends and foes! Read more »

Brett Singer Tweets for 2012-06-17
This week is Brett Singer Tweets — oh, the excitement. Everything from a great interview with John Irving in the New York Times to a nifty little bit about the late Ray Bradbury (RIP) and Mars-related news, which was a coincidence. Probably. Read on. Read more »
