Father’s Day comes but once a year, and it’s a great time to have a drink — responsibly, of course.
Here are some Father’s Day drink recipes provided by Bulleit Bourbon and George Dickel, which is a whisky. In the spirit of full disclosure, I have not tried these beverages but I would like to because they sound quite tasty. Also: these beverages contain alcohol. You should know that, but I feel the need to mention it.

This list of “10 game-changing gadgets” from a panel of tech journalists (via ZDNet) is amusingly stupid. Let’s go through them one by one. (Note: this is more of an opinion piece than a rant. But I like my DaddyTips Rant graphic. And I do rant a little bit.)
UPDATED 6/27/11: see below for an update on the OnLive Game System, which can be used on an iPad and may include a controller. That could actually be a significant product if anybody notices enough to use it.
ZDNet has a cute list of things to give your geeky dad this Father’s Day. I definitely fall into this category. I already have the Geek Dad book (highly recommended), and most of the things I actually want either haven’t been invented yet (flying car) or are too expensive (a Sonos streaming music setup and someone to set it all up for me so I don’t have to do it).
