GeekDad has a review with lots of helpful details. Before you read it, find out if you and your kids are likely to enjoy this app by answering a few simple questions.
1. Are you waiting impatiently for the Avengers movie to open on May 4?
2. Did you consider flying to London in order to see the movie before May 4?
3. Did we have you at “it’s an app featuring the Avengers?”
According to the GeekDad review, Avengers Origins: Assemble! is appropriate for younger children, which means you can share your nerdiness with your offspring. Features include mini-games, including some new ones added recently, and of course the origin story of Earth’s Mightiest Heros. That story takes the form of an e-book, which can be read the regular way, or you can have it read it to you by none other than Stan “The Man” Lee. GeekDad’s James Floyd Kelly writes, “It’s always fun to hear Stan Lee narrate a Marvel tale,” a statement with which we wholeheartedly agree. Excelsior!
Now that the movie is only a few days away, you don’t have to be a Geek Gold Card member in order to appreciate stuff like this. Heck, you could consider this research. You don’t want your children to be confused when they see Avengers, right?
DaddyTips will be doing more posts about the Avengers movie as this week continues. Friday May 4, folks. Get your tickets now.
