David Beckham’s Misspelled Tattoo
So Beckham. Soccer player. (Yes, I know they call it “football” over there. But they’re wrong.) Very successful guy.
Not too bright, it seems.

That’s right, somewhere down the line, the proper Sanskrit spelling of Victoria’s name got lost in translation — or actually, an “h” got added. According to scholars, Becks’ ode to the wifey actually reads “Vihctoria.”
Yeah, I get the whole “it’s Sanskrit so how could he know” argument. But there’s also the “if you don’t know how to read a language, why get your wife’s name burned into your skin in that language” argument. Which I personally think makes a lot more sense.
